UDAAN- The Flight to Success 2k22 – B.Tech Induction Programme
Department of Applied Sciences and Humanities of Panipat Institute of Engg. And Technology organized an Induction Programme i.e UDAAN- 2K22 from 16th Sep. to 6th Oct. for the B.Tech students..
Student Induction Program engages with the new students as soon as they come into the institution; regular classes start only after that. At the start of the induction, the incumbents learn about the institutional policies, processes, practices, culture and values, and their mentor groups are formed. Then the different activities start, including those which are daily.
Inauguration of the event was done by lighting the lamp by Shri. Hari Om Tayal Ji, Chairman PIET, Mr. Suresh Tayal Member BOG, Mr. Rakesh Tayal Member BOG, Director Dr Shakti Kumar, Head of Department, Dr. Vinay Khatri of Applied sciences and Humanities.
After that various activities are performed during 21 days Induction program as follows:
- A career guidance session from the Management and from Head of the Department of Applied Sciences and Humanities.
- An expert session by Surya Sir (Resource Person and Corporate Trainer).
- Expert lecture on College Life: A Challenge or Commitment by Ms. Deepika Dawar (Founder of Care and Cure Wellness clinic) on 21st Sep 2k22.
- Orientation Session on Innovation and Entrepreneurship by Mr. Rajiv Gulati (Former Head United Nations Technology Innovation Lab) on 26th Sep. 2k22.
Some activities are performed on daily basis. Here is a list of activities:
- Physical Activity (Yoga and Meditation) and Sports.
- Creative Arts and Culture
- Mentoring & Universal Human values
- Familiarization with College, Dept./Branch
- Literary Activity
- Extra-Curricular Activities (Talent Hunt)
The Programme ended with a new zeal among the students. They were encouraged for the Successful life and a vision of triumph.
