Keeping in mind the shift from conventional programs to emerging technology programs as suggested by the NEP, AICTE, and NASSCOM, the institute has launched its Assured Placement Program (APP) in 2020-21.
To create sensitivity regarding current trends of Industry 4.0 among students, one industry academia meet “CONVOLUTION” was organized on 24th May, 2021 where in industry people interacted with institute’s authority and highlighted the demand of emerging technology learning for placements.
The main motto of this program is to make students job ready considering the market scenario. Accordingly, six courses were chosen for three-month training under the assured placement program. The courses are Data Science, Full Stack Java Development, Construction Management, Embedded System, VLSI and IOT. The selection of students was totally governed by online written test comprising of aptitude, reasoning, technical questions and telephonic interview. A total of 525 students participated enthusiastically in the written test and interview round for their selections in training courses and 134 were selected. The details of students appeared and selected for various training programs are shown in the table below.

Training module for these programs are different from the University curriculum and consists of rigorous training sessions, assignments, hands on experience in the technology, live project exposure etc. A student completing the minimum attendance, assignments, project etc. is eligible for assured placement in 2021.

Due to digital revolution in Industry revolution 4.0, lot of new careers have emerged like product developer, data engineer, machine learning engineer, cyber security engineer and soon. To enable young engineers to crack the selection pattern of top MNC’s with average package of minimum 8LPA, certain preparation strategy is needed and students will have to undergo these additional add-on courses (defined by Education 4.0) to prepare themselves as per Industry 4.0 expectations.
