A 5-days virtual orientation programme was organized in the Department of Pharmacy to apprise students with the profession of Pharmacy, its scope and job options available.
The students were addressed by the faculty members on the curriculum of B. Pharm and D. Pharm, Examination Evaluation System, Code of Conduct of Pharmacy, Progression rules, attendance and details about various theoretical and practical subjects. The Director and the Management of PIET addressed and welcomed new students about their career prospects, and code of conduct, discipline, innovative ideas to become entrepreneurs. The students virtually visited the PIET campus, Central and Department library. Director, Prof. Shakti Kumar demonstrated Artificial Pancreas to the students to inculcate the idea of newer trends in biomedical devices.
