PIET SAE COLLEGIATE CLUB of Mechanical Engineering Department on 15th and 16st march 2019 organised a 2 day workshop on engine overhauling. The workshop had been sponsored by Absolute Suzuki, Panipat and Siddak motors, Sonipat.
Guest Lectures
On 11th Feb. 2016, a guest lecture was organized at Panipat institute of engineering and technology, Samalkha, Panipat on âEntrepreneurship Developmentâ. Mr. Trilok Gupta (Astt. Director, MSME-DI KARNAL) was the esteemed speaker. Guest Lecture is a way of stirring students with the newest updates of the industry. The topic of the session was âBasics of Entrepreneurshipâ. The lecture began with discussion on Entrepreneurship Development; he shared success stories of entrepreneurs like: Karshanbhai Patel â Nirma, Mr. Dhirubhai Ambani -Reliance, Narayan Murthy â Infosys, Steve Jobs â Apple, Bill Gates -Microsoft, Mark Zuckerberg â Facebook. Other key elements of the session were Why Entrepreneurship? Model of Entrepreneurship Process, Entrepreneurship Development Function, Dynamics of Entrepreneurship, Role of Entrepreneur, Functions of Entrepreneur, Entrepreneurial Traits, Entrepreneurial Competences, etc. The session was an interactive one where the students were very participative and engaged in questions with the dignitary. The session came to an end with the vote of thanks by Mr. Gyanender Ghangas.
On 18th april 2019 Professor Colonel in Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College, Ghaziabad is affiliated to Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (APTU), Lucknow and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education inaugurated the session with his informative speech on âAutomation & roboticsâ Their after number of faculty from AKGEC group share their knowledge on latest technology used in mechanical engineering. The proceedings of the seminar were inaugurated by Dr D.P. Chauhan, Dean Academic PIET, Dr. Sunil Dhull, HOD, Department of Mechanical Engineering, PIET, and Er. Amit Dubey, HOD, Department of Mechanical Engineering Diploma Assistant Professor (ME), PIET.
