Quizzes are designed to promote, a fun way to study and in the process help improve one’s general knowledge. Quiz competitions enables students to think from different angles or simply ‘to think out of the box’.
To reinvent the education system and give students a break from traditional classroom learning, there is a dire need to revive the quiz culture in colleges. Besides the obvious academic benefits of expanding a student’s knowledge and exploring new skills at an early age, quizzes redefine the education system in significant ways
The Department of Management Studies organized a Quiz Competition, E-Quizzard (Marketing) on Microsoft teams on 27th April 2020. The Coordinators were Dr. Saurabh Garg, Mr. Vikas Nain and Mr. Vikas Kumar Tyagi. An online test was conducted in which 12 teams participated, six teams scoring highest was selected.
In addition to the quiz “Sell-it” activity was also conducted where in different products were given to a team to sell before the panel.
The activity was thoroughly judged and examined by the Proficient Professors- Ms Kanika and Dr. Sandeep.
Team of Mr. Pranjal, Mr. Daman, Ms. Srishti, and Ms. Geetanjali stood first and runners-up position was grabbed by Ms. Annu, Ms. Shreya, Mr. Gaurav and Mr. Shubham. Mr. Shivesh was declared as the ‘Best Presenter’ in sales activity and Ms. Bhavya stood second.
The Department of Management Studies is privileged and proud at the moment, and grateful to the worthy Management and the Director for their continuous support for such kind of innovative practices.
