In continuation to PIET’S endeavor to transform lives through e-learning and to minimize the impact of the corona virus (COVID-19) outbreak on student’s learning, the Department of Management Studies arranged an expert lecture on “Competency Mapping”.
Competency mapping is the process of identifying the specific skills, knowledge, abilities, and behaviors required to operate effectively in a specific trade, profession, or job position. Competency mapping operates on the underlying principle that behavioral and knowledge attributes can be learned, and that the behaviors and knowledge sets people outwardly exhibit are only a small portion of the behaviors and knowledge sets that people are capable of showing.
On these concerns Dr. Amitabh Deo Kodwani Faculty IIM Indore, delivered an interactive session on “Competency Mapping” through Microsoft Team on 10th April 2020 for the HR students and Faculty of Department of Management Studies and Faculty of Department of Business Studies.
