The Department of Management Studies, Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology organized a Guest Lecture on “HRM in the World of Work” on 12th May 2022 at the Seminar Hall, Block – D at Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology. The session was initiated and organised on behalf of the Heads and Hands Club – The HR Club, Department of Management Studies. The guest speaker was Ms. Shaifaly Sangal, Founder – Yungminds and Woman with Wings, Delhi-NCR.
The event started with a welcome address of the guest by the students of MBA. The Head of the department, Mr. Akhilesh Mishra felicitated Ms. Shaifaly with a planter as a token of gratitude. The session started with few engaging activities. In the session, she emphasized the understanding and importance of the various HRM aspects and the trends at present. She explicitly focused on the ‘WOW factor of HR’ and exemplified through various online Google articles about the significance of creating the kind of environment where employees feel like coming regularly to office, reduced attrition, etc. Further, she also discussed about the various tricks and tactics of being an efficient HR from a junior position to the senior position The lecture was received with full enthusiasm by the students and the faculties of the department and they also found the discussion highly informative and motivating. The event ended with a quiz, an open house for the students’ queries and vote of thanks.
