The Department of Management Studies, Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology organized an Online Guest Lecture on “Management Lessons through Performing Arts” on 25th June 2021. The guest speaker was Mr. Madhukar Pandey, Corporate Professional and Theatre Artist, Delhi-NCR.
The event started with a welcome address of the guest. In his talk, Mr. Madhukar emphasized the understanding and importance of the various management lessons through performing arts. He explicitly focused and exemplified about overcoming stage fright, confidence-building, knowing your audience, teamwork, personal branding and challenging thyself. Moreover, he also discussed about various mantras of understanding diversity and inclusion, knowing the boss, being fluid, persistent and resilient and handling success well. The best part of the session was that he deliberated about management lessons with the help of his own theatre performance pictures. The lecture was received with full enthusiasm by the students and the faculties of the department and they also found the slides highly informative and motivating. The event ended with a quiz, an open house for the students’ queries and vote of thanks.
