Principles of General Insurance

The Department of Management Studies (DMS) organized a guest lecture on Principles of General Insurance by Mr. Kanwal Kumar (Deputy Manager, Oriental Insurance Panipat). The session was joined by Shri Suresh Tayal (Chairman, PIET), Prof. R C Sharma (Professor, DMS), faculty members of DMS and students of MBA 1st year.
The welcome note was delivered by Diksha Kalra (MBA 1st year student). Mr. Kanwal Kumar started the session with basic introduction of insurance and its origin. His session was followed by exemplification of basic principles of insurance. Queries from students and other members were taken up wonderfully by the speaker. He concluded the session by highlighting the importance of insurance.
The guest and other stakeholders were thanked by Vivek Jha (MBA 1st year) and the vote of thanks was delivered by Prof. R C Sharma.
