Department of Management Studies at Panipat Institute Institute of Engineering and Technology successfully organized its 2-day, 2nd Virtual International Conference on Contemporary Issues in Business, Management and Economics on 17th and 18th June 2022. Chief Guest, Prof. Sudesh Chhikara – Vice Chancellor from Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidalaya inaugurated the conference and appreciated the theme of the conference. Moreover, she discussed all the major issues from disruption of technology to the social well-being of the employees. Day one began with the expert talk from Prof. Sudesh Bedi where he talked about sustainable economic development.
Keynote Speaker – Mr. Muthana Zouri (Dean, School of Business, Saskatchewan Polytechnic, Canada) elaborated on the integration of Decision Support System in hospital Management. Eminent resource persons from Industry and academia contributed with their valuable inputs in context to the emerging market trends and social well being of the human. Mr. Sumit Pahwa (CEO, Complinity Technologies), Ms. Shivani Malhotra (Partner and MD, Positive Vibes Consulting, Gurgaon), Ms. Prachi Mendiratta (Head of People and Talent, Melbourne, Austratlia) expressed their thoughts and ideas on the various aspects of business management and entrepreneurship. On the 2nd Day, Prof. Sheshadri Mohan from University of Arkansas – USA, Ms. Nazareen Ebrahim (CEO of NCI – South Africa), Dr. Supriya Sharma (Executive Director – Brainglow Business Services, Italy) mesmerized the researchers by sharing wide usage of AI and ML in Digital Transformation of the market and creating experience for the customers. The galaxy of eminent Academicians namely Prof. Sanjeev Kumar, Dr. Hardeep, Prof. Geeta, Dr. Promila, Dr. Amit Srivastava, Dr. Vijay Athawale were the session chairs for various tracks. Dr. Shakti Kumar, Director gave the valedictory word and Mr. Rakesh Tayal, Mr. Shubham Tyaal appreciated the DMS team led by Dr. Akhilesh Mishra – HOD and conveners Dr. Suman Dahiya, Dr. Ankur, Ms. Jayti and Ms. Sonu for the perfect fruition of the conference.
Various awards were also declared in the categories of Best Research Paper, Best Research Paper Presentation and Best Research Paper Presentation in Student Category.
