Orientation Programme- BCA-2017
The Orientation Programme “Kshitiz”for newly admitted students of BCA (2017-18) was organized on July 17’2017. It started with a warm welcome to students by HEAD OF DEPARTMENT, Mr. Dinesh Verma. He inspired students by teaching them some moral values to be successful in life. Chief guest of the event Sh. Hariom Tayal,Chairman,PIET shared his views on IMPORTANCE OF EDUCATION IN ONE’s LIFE and Mr. Suresh Tayal, SECRETARY BOG advised for less use of mobile phones. Second year and final year students performed various co curricular activities and in response new students also actively participated in games. It was followed by a self disciplinary knowledge by Sh. S.K. Khanna, ADMINISTRATOR, PIET. Students were enlightened for hard work approach by Prof. (Dr.) K. K Paliwal, DIRECTOR, PIET. Sh. B.B SHARMA, DEAN STUDENT WELFARE, PIET well informed students about college environment and grooming skills. An alumni from MCA Vaishali Chhabra was also present in the event who shared her experience in PIET and provided guidance to students for placements in IT field. The programme concluded with distribution of Mr. & Miss. Fresher titles based on overall performance of 1st year students in the event.
