“Even if I knew that tomorrow the world would go to pieces, I would still plant my apple tree.”- Martin Luther. The department along with Management initiated the plantation drive as they believe that it’s only the trees which provide us with many benefits necessary for survival, including clean air, filtered water, shade, and food. They also give us hope and insight, and courage to persevere – even in the harshest conditions. Trees teach us to stay rooted while soaring to great heights

Day 5: 2nd August. In the morning session of the final day of Anusthapan 2k19, students were amazed to have movie time in which they were shown the movie “Jobs” which is a 2013 American biographical drama film based on the life of Steve Jobs, from 1974 while a student at Reed College to the introduction of the iPod in 2001.  Students learned that entrepreneurship is hard work especially when you live in an age when your market does not exist. The beginning of Apple was the original crazy idea. Think Henry Ford telling people that they needed cars when they didn’t even know what a car was. That’s the story of Apple, personal computer for the everyday people who didn’t know what the heck they would do with one. As entrepreneurs there are great lessons to be learnt from this film and the life of Steve Jobs.

This was followed by Ice-breaking session by Dr. Himanshu Jain who talked and shared the practical fronts of leading a healthy, ethical and effective life.
