ANUSTHAPAN 2024: A Transformative Induction Program

The Department of Management Studies (DMS) at Panipat Institute of Engineering & Technology (PIET) proudly organized “ANUSTHAPAN 2024,” a 10-day induction program for the new MBA batch 2024–26, held from August 1–10, 2024. Combining academic insights, alumni interactions, industry exposure, personal growth, and skill-building, the program set an unparalleled standard for welcoming future business leaders into the DMS family.

Holistic Orientation and Skill-Building

ANUSTHAPAN 2024 began with a vibrant meet-and-greet session, fostering connections among students, faculty, alumni, and seniors. Guided campus tours introduced state-of-the-art facilities, ensuring students felt confident as they embarked on their MBA journey. The program seamlessly combined knowledge-sharing, skill-building, and spirituality, offering clarity on pedagogy, specialization options, and evaluation systems. Workshops on time management, stress management, and entrepreneurial thinking prepared students for academic and professional challenges. AIMA BIZZ LAB simulations provided hands-on experience with real-world business scenarios, while sessions like “The Power of Positivity” emphasized resilience and self-motivation. Outdoor activities and management games added a dynamic touch, fostering a holistic and engaging learning environment.

 Panel Discussion: Shaping Next-Gen Managers

A highlight of the program was the panel discussion on “Key Competencies for Next-Gen Managers,” which featured esteemed industry and academic leaders. Panelists included:

  • Mr. Suresh Dutt Tripathi, Advisor and CHRO, Air India, who emphasized emotional intelligence and adaptability.
  • Prof. Vinay Kumar Nangia, former Head of DMS, IIT Roorkee, who inspired students with entrepreneurial insights.
  • Mr. Paras Kochhar, Vice President at NewsReach India, who spoke on digital transformation and customer engagement strategies.
  • Mr. Rakesh Tayal, Vice Chairman, PIET, who stressed the importance of ethics and values in management education.
  • Prof. Akhilesh Mishra, Head, DMS, who highlighted critical thinking and mentorship as essential for corporate readiness.

The session provided students with a holistic understanding of the competencies needed to thrive in today’s dynamic business environment.
