The 5th Convocation along with Alumni Meet of the Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology was held on 28th Jan, 2019. Prof. (Dr.) K K Aggarwal, Hon’ble Chairman, National Board of Accreditation was the Chief Guest on this auspicious occasion while Prof. (Dr.) Gajendra Simgh, Dean Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pt. B D Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak was the Guest of Honour. The Chief Guest delivered the Convocation Address to enlighten and motivate the Graduates about the future needs of the fast developing New India which are likely to offer golden opportunities, particularly in the fields relating to technology development. He also congratulated the PIET management for attaining NBA Accreditation for CSE Branch, which, he added, has put PIET much above others in promising quality education in Haryana. The award of degrees was followed by felicitation of meritorious students with Medals, Awards and Certificates for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions in the University merit list by the Hon’ble Chief Guest, the Chairman NBA, Member Secretary and Director of the Institute. On this occasion a Souvenir was also released by the Worthy Chief Guest, Prof. (Dr.) K K Aggarwal In this souvenir, the best wishes were conveyed to the students for their success and bright future.
Shri Hari Om Tayal, Chairman and Shri Suresh Tayal acknowledged the sincere efforts and congratulated everyone for the success of the Convocation while Mr. Rakesh Tayal; Vice-Chairman presented the vote of thanks. The Convocation was immediately followed by sumptuous lunch. The students were excited and enthusiastic meeting their old friends and sharing experiences of their new professional lives while recalling the youthful time spent at their alma mater. The evening ended with dance, music and party leaving behind a message of affiliation to their colleges.
