Student Readiness Program

In recent years, PIET has emerged as a preferred hub for campus recruitment, with companies increasingly seeking skilled engineers. To address the growing demand for trained manpower and enhance employability, recruiting firms now expect students to possess industry-ready skills right from their engineering college days, particularly from institutions closely associated with them, like PIET.

After extensive discussions and brainstorming sessions with both companies and students, we have devised an industry-ready program tailored to meet the requirements of leading tech companies.

The primary objectives of this program are:

  • Alignment with the selection processes of many visiting companies.
  • Training in accordance with the demands of prominent tech majors.
  • Ensuring conceptual clarity of fundamental concepts.
  • Providing practical orientation to cultivate employable professionals.
  • Supporting students to succeed in interviews through readiness sessions.

Upon completion of this training, students stand a better chance of clearing company interviews. Our focus is on producing employable graduates with specialized skills, ensuring they are job-ready by the time they complete their studies and are prepared to enter the workforce.

The emphasis on skill development and enhancing employability begins from the first semester and gradually intensifies over time. Regular classroom sessions are conducted to enhance communication skills. Students are encouraged to participate in activities such as extemporaneous speaking, presentations, debates, declamation, seminars, and conferences to improve their communication abilities. Additionally, group discussion sessions are regularly scheduled, and aptitude classes are held to foster logical thinking.
