The financial powers mentioned under the policy of decentralization of financial powers have been enhanced as follows:

1. Director shall be vested with the power to sanction one item of up to Rs. 1,00,000/- and sanction a total of Rs. 20,00,000/- per year.
2. Deans/Principals/Registrar/HoDs/Director-CAC shall be vested with the power to sanction one item of up to Rs. 10,000/- and sanction a total of Rs. 5,00,000/- per year.
3. The faculty of the Institute may purchase books up to Rs 2,000 in an academic year.
