The following shall be competent to incur expenditure within the provision mentioned in the budget estimates:

• Director up to Rs. 1,00,000.
• Heads of the Departments up to Rs. 20,000.
• The faculty of the Institute may purchase the technical books up to Rs 2,000 in an academic year.
