Department of Management Studies (DMS) of Panipat Institute of Engineering & Technology (PIET), Samalkha, Haryana, organized two days of online National Management Fest, PRABANDHAN MANIA – 2023 on 21st and 22nd April 2022. The event consisted of three major events – Business Plan Competition, Case Study Competition, and Elevator Pitch.
The inaugural ceremony of the event was graced by the honourable Director of the institution Prof. (Dr.) Shakti Kumar. In his opening remarks, sir highlighted the importance of innovation and skill development in developing a nation.
The event was also honoured and judged by distinguished guests such as Prof. Sanjiv Mittal, Professor at University School of Management Studies, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi; Prof. Suresh Bedi, Chief Academic Mentor PIET; Prof. A.K Sharan, Dean and Professor, MRIIRS, Faridabad; and Mr. Rajive Gulati, Head: Centre for Innovation, Incubation & Entrepreneurship (CIIE), Mody University of Science and Technology
210 dedicated competitors actively participated in these events. Our attentive panel of internal judges carefully selected 57 remarkable teams from 40 different institutions to proceed to the final presentation. The participating institutions consisted of a diverse array of well-known establishments, including nine prominent Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), three respected Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), four distinguished National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Renowned Delhi University colleges such as SRCC and St. Stephen’s College, Other notable institutions like IIFT, XIMB, and students from PIET.
Without a doubt, PRABANDHAN MANIA 2023 was an inspiring and engaging experience for all participants, nurturing the growth of future leaders in management and entrepreneurship. The fest concluded on 22nd April 2023 with the valedictory session. It provided great learning to the engineering & management students from young minds from the country’s top institutions with advice from our eminent judges. The event was organized under the leadership of Prof. Akhilesh Kumar Mishra, Head-Department of Management Studies, with the unconditional support of the Director-PIET and the institution’s management.
