The four year B. Tech. degree programme in Information Technology (IT) provides its graduates the knowledge and skills required for various professional responsibilities and leadership positions of different IT domains.
The curriculum offered comprises of the courses from humanities and social sciences, mathematics & basic sciences, engineering sciences, professional core, professional electives & open electives from various specializations, projects, and mandatory internships with a total of 160 credits spread over eight semesters.
The four year B.Tech. (Honors) degree programme in Information Technology (IT) provides the students an opportunity to undertake an additional 20 credits from any one area of minor specialization from the emerging technologies like Block-Chain, AR/VR, IOT, AI & ML, AI &DS and Cyber Security evenly distributed from 3rd to 8th semesters.
The approved intake of the programme is 60 students
