The Department of Textile Engineering of PIET is vigorously marching towards the pursuit of technical excellence in textile education. The institute is the only institute which offers the 4 year programme of B.Tech in Textile Engineering under the ageis of the Kurukshetra University.
Textile Engineering is a branch of engineering that deals with fiber, yarn, fabrics, chemical processing of textile goods and garment manufacturing. It is the science that deals with all activities and methods which are involved in process of textile manufacturing.
The approved intake of the programme is 30 students
