Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology takes immense pleasure in announcing that we have got the privilege of being selected to host the Grand Finale of “Smart India Hackathon-2024 (Hardware Edition)”, as one of the 51 centers from all over India.
We are the only Nodal Center in Haryana to host this prestigious event, initiated by the Ministry of Education (MoE), AICTE on a usual grander format, to be scheduled from December 11 to 15, 2024. Hosting this mega event is a tremendous honor for us, and it stands as a testament to the commitment, capability, and collaborative spirit of our institution. Over these five days, the brightest young minds from across the country will converge on our campus to tackle critical problem statements presented by the Ministry of Jal Shakti/Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation.
The Smart India Hackathon is going to be organized in collaboration with AICTE with an objective to promote innovative thinking in the students, with a special focus on solving problems of public importance and seeking out-of-the-box solutions with an objective-oriented approach. The mission in hand is to solve the issues and challenges related to drinking water and sanitation faced by the people of India. With 30 teams having around 180 talented students from all corners of India, the event promises to be a vibrant hub of innovation, creativity, and impactful problem-solving. These teams will dedicate themselves to developing groundbreaking solutions to some of the most pressing challenges in the domain of drinking water and sanitation.
As a host, we are not just providing a platform for innovation but also creating an unforgettable experience for everyone involved. Our entire team PIET, is brimming with enthusiasm, ready to support, celebrate, and contribute to this journey of technological excellence. Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technologies (PIET) has been chosen for the third time as the nodal center for the Grand finale of the Smart India Hackathon, which is scheduled to be held from 11th to 15th December, 2024.
