Department of Management Studies and ED Cell in association with MSME Karnal organized a two days Industrial Motivation Campaign on 24th and 25th Feb 2021. The main objective of this programme is to identify and motivate traditional / non-traditional entrepreneurs having potential for setting up the business and to lead them towards self-employment. During the programme various projects which have potential in particular areas are also discussed with the interested participants.
Mr Rakesh Tayal Vice Chairman, Panipat Institute of Science & Technology gave the message to the students that they should transform themselves from doing traditional business into smart business and asked the students to understand the lessons from the experts.
Mr Sunil Asst. Director, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Karnal, explained the various activities and schemes that are serviced by MSME like Credit Guarantee Fund Trust, Credit Link Capital Subsidy Scheme for technology upgradation (CLCSS), Cluster Development Programme, Market Development Assistance (MDA), Entrepreneur Clubs, Bar Coding, Fee Reimbursement and Tool Room etc.
Lastly, there was a question and answer round where the speakers addressed the queries of students and told them about the technical know- how and other assistances available for MSMEs and how can these schemes be availed. The event concluded with Prof. (Dr.) R.C.Sharma proposing a vote of thanks and Management honoring the guests with mementos.
