The Illuminate Club of the Applied Science and Humanities Department was established in 2021-2022 with the mission to foster creativity, promote interdisciplinary engagement, and empower students through a variety of enriching events. Our club serves as a vibrant platform that not only encourages students to showcase their talents but also facilitates meaningful dialogue and celebrates the diversity within our academic community. One of our key initiatives is the annual declamation contest, where participants have the opportunity to develop their public speaking skills and articulate their perspectives on pressing contemporary issues. This event not only enhances their communication abilities but also fosters critical thinking and confidence in expressing their ideas.

In addition, we celebrate Ethnic Day, a festive occasion dedicated to recognizing and appreciating cultural diversity. This event invites students to share their heritage through food, music, dance, and traditional attire, creating an inclusive atmosphere that strengthens the bonds among students from various backgrounds while promoting cultural awareness. Furthermore, in recognition of Women’s Day, the Illuminate Club organizes a series of discussions, workshops, and guest speaker sessions aimed at empowering women and advocating for gender equality. These activities inspire students to reflect on the vital contributions of women in society and encourage them to become agents of positive change.

Through these initiatives, the Illuminate Club has become instrumental in creating a dynamic environment for learning and personal growth.
